The Leksell® Vantage X-Ray Fiducial Box consists of four fiducial plates labeled RIGHT and LEFT, ANTERIOR (3) and POSTERIOR.

The fiducials are made of high-density material to impose markers that are clearly visible on angiograms. Each plate has four fiducials shaped as either crosses or plus signs. An extra fiducial shaped as a plus sign is placed on the frontal plate and on the left plate to indicate the direction in which the image was taken. The extra fiducial is positioned between the top fiducials to the patient's left on the frontal plate and between the lower fiducials to the patient's anterior on the
left plate. During X-ray imaging, the X-ray fiducial box is attached to the frame holder via the two interface
areas. The two levers lock the X-ray fiducial box to the frame holder.
