MRI Head Coil Adapter, Upper Stop is used together with the Leksell Vantage Stereotactic System to support the patient´s head inside a MR Head coil. The coil adapter attaches to the posterior part of the frame. This MRI head coil adapter is compatible with the following MR head coils:

Philips dStream T/R Head coil
Philips Transmit Receive Head Coil

This product replaces 1054774.

This MRI head coil adapter is taylored for the Philips 3T/1.5T coils. It is similar but slightly narrower, and thicker than the Universal adapter. In addition, it has two 'towers' extending in the Z-direction that act as mechanical stops to prevent the MRI fiducial box from getting in contact with the inner wall of the coil.
