The MR fiducial box is used with Leksell® Vantage™ Head Frame to provide fiducial markers (reference points) in the image to position the patient's brain in the stereotactic coordinate system. The MR images are sent to the treatment planning software to obtain the stereotactic target coordinates x, y and z. 

It is designed to be used in a head coil with a minimum of 250 millimeters in diameter. Please contact your local Elekta representative if there are any questions. 

A filling needle for CuSo4, a sealing-screw key and the fiducial box screwdriver are included in the delivery.
