Educational Equipment Donations

General Guidelines

Thank you in advance for giving Elekta the opportunity to support your organization’s educational activity.  Please review the following guidelines before completing and submitting your on-line request for support.  

General Guidelines

  • All requests must be submitted directly by the organization requesting support using the Online Application. Elekta employees may not submit requests on an organization’s behalf.
  • All fields in the Online Application form must be completed and all required supporting documentation must be submitted in order for Elekta to process a request. Failure to provide all required information will result in delay and possibly rejection of your request. 
  • All information provided in connection with a request must be true and accurate.
  • When completing your request, please keep the following in mind:
    • Elekta corporate giving decisions are not influenced in any way by an organization’s past, present or future use, purchase or recommendation of Elekta products
    • Elekta corporate giving guidelines do not permit donations that will be used to fund (in whole or in part) expenditures related to the delivery of medical care to patients, including administrative, operational and capital costs
    • Your request may need to be publicly reported by Elekta pursuant to the laws of your country.

Specific Guidelines

Educational Equipment Donations:

Elekta is proud to support the development of our upcoming generation of clinical professionals through product donations to accredited Educational Institutions.  These non-clinical, educational licenses provide students with the same high-quality products that they may encounter upon entering professional clinical practice, enabling them to begin their careers with a head-start towards better patient care.

Donations are limited, and applications will be assessed based on several factors including accreditation status, size and scope of program, and other merit-based criteria.  In addition, the following eligibility criteria must be met:

  • Equipment is for educational, non-clinical use and cannot be used to perform or support patient treatments in any way
  • Equipment should be used to support student education relating to the pursuit of accredited degree, certificate, or equivalent.
  • All use in any non-educational format as described above (i.e. for research and/or publications) should be verified and approved by Elekta prior to use

Selected institutions will also receive all required training and support for instructors and professionals to be able to implement these products successfully in their programs.

Supporting Documentation

 

All of the following documents must be included in your Online Application:

  • Program and accreditation documentation (e.g., brochure, web address, accreditation certificate(s), program outline, etc.)
  • Official documentation establishing the tax-exempt/charitable status of your organization (if applicable)

Application Form

To request support from Elekta in the form of Educational Equipment Donations, please complete all sections of this Form and attach all required supporting documentation. Do NOT use this form to submit requests for clinical or technical research funding or Fellowship Support.

Elekta’s Corporate Giving Committee reviews all requests for corporate giving support. Requests are reviewed in the order in which they are submitted. You will receive a decision from Elekta within 60 days following the submission of a fully completed request.

Please be aware that Elekta is not able to approve and support every important cause that seeks funding. All decisions by the Corporate Giving Committee are final. All Elekta corporate giving activities reflect the company’s unwavering commitment to conducting our business with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws.
