Cybersecurity incident statement

Elekta has identified a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to information held within part of our IT environment. Our investigation has confirmed that certain information was accessed and extracted by an unauthorized actor. Elekta acted quickly to contain and stop the affected access and engaged internal and external cybersecurity experts to investigate. Based on our current assessment, the information involved consisted primarily of commonly available business contact details for some of our customers, such as names and business email addresses. We have contacted identified customers where mitigation actions are advisable, and we remain committed to further communication if necessary.
