Description:
OBJECTIVE - APPLICATION TRAINING 
To provide applications training in IMRT treatment planning utilizing the XiO Treatment Planning System. The course provides an understanding of the IMRT software enabling the user to efficiently create effective IMRT treatment plans using our product.
OBJECTIVES - PHYSICS TRAINING
To provide IMRT specific data collection requirement and training on the IMRT specific beam modeling tools.

  • Contouring for IMRT Planning
  • Beam Placement
  • The IMRT Prescription
  • Optimization
  • Segmentation/Compensation
  • QA of IMRT Plans
 
COURSE CONTENT - PHYSICS TRAINING
       Data Acquisition Requirements for IMRT Beam Modeling
 
DURATION - APPLICATION TRAINING
       3 day in-house training (Accredited by ASRT and MDCB)
 
DURATION - PHYSICS TRAINING
      4 days in-house training (3 day application training + 1 day physics training)
TARGET GROUP - APPLICATION TRAINING
     Dosimetrist
     Physicists
     Treatment Planners
TARGET GROUP - PHYSICS TRAINING     
      Physicists 
PREREQUISITES - APPLICATION AND PHYSICS TRAINING
      XiO-Application Training Course or at least 3-6 months experience using XiO
      XiO Treatment Planning system installed in your clinic
      Understanding of IMRT treatment planning preferred
