INVITATION TO INVESTOR MEETING

Stockholm, Sweden, August 26, 2008

Elekta is pleased to invite analysts and investors to an investor meeting held in conjunction with the meeting of ASTRO (American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology) in Boston, USA.

Elekta will provide information about its current focus areas and product portfolio. Elekta’s President and CEO Tomas Puusepp, Dee Mathieson, SVP Business Line Management Oncology Systems, and Jay Hoey, EVP Software Systems, will participate in this meeting.

Date and time: Monday September 22, from 2 p.m. to approximately 4 p.m. (EDT).
