ELEKTA INVITATION TO CAPITAL MARKETS DAY AT ASTRO 5 OCTOBER 2004

INVITATION – REMINDER AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Stockholm 14 September 2004

ASTRO, the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology holds its annual meeting this year in Atlanta, the home of Elekta’s North American headquarters. ASTRO is the most important clinical meeting and trade show for radiation oncology. Investors, who want to get a deeper knowledge about the radiation oncology business and the competitive situation are recommended to visit this event which is held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA on Saturday-Wednesday, 3-7 October.

Elekta will host a Capital Markets Day on Tuesday 5 October, 10:00am - 1:00pm at the Cottonwood Room at the OMNI hotel in Atlanta. Elekta management and specialists will present the development both in the radioterapy and neurosurgery markets. Special focus will be on the competitive situation within image guided and stereotactic radiotherapy and on the GPO market in the US.

The meeting will include a buffet luncheon in the Cottonwood room at noon followed by a guided tour through Elekta’s booth #2124 at the exhibition.
