The continuous research and development of Leksell® Stereotactic Neurosurgery strives to meet both present and new needs at the forefront of stereotaxy and radiosurgery.

The latest addition is ImageMerge™, an optional module for Leksell SurgiPlan® which facilitates pre-operative planning. It’s intended for co-registration of image studies with each other. One image study scanned with Leksell ® Coordinate Frame can thus be matched with any other image study when it is convenient to use previously scanned images.

ImageMerge™ not only supports MR and CT images, but can also co-register and display color PET images with the optional module ColorPET™.

Main features

• Automatic co-registration – fast and accurate
  The automatic option is recommended and in most cases optimal. The process is fast and fully automatic – there is no need to define any anatomical landmarks.

  When the images do not have enough information the landmark-based co-registration is an option

ColorPET™ - integrates physiological data ColorPET™ is an optional module for ImageMerge™. It enables co-registration of PET images as well as visualization of color coded PET image studies. ColorPET™ allows the user to combine the physiological date of PET images with the anatomical data of CT and MR images.
