Technical Training Introduction

The Technical Training Department aims to provide high quality technical training on the current product range.

Our focus is to provide information and training that supports and facilitates the acquisition of underpinning knowledge and practical experience so that engineers and scientists are competent and confident to manage the whole life cycle of the Elekta equipment in their care.

Technical Training

Technical Training is organized from the Elekta Ltd office in Crawley, UK.

At the Crawley site there are a number of classrooms and equipment installations, which include a radiating Precise Linear Accelerator, Precise Table, HexaPOD evo and iGuide, Linac Control system iViewGT™ and XVI.

At the Atlanta site there are a number of classrooms and equipment installations, which include a radiating Precise Linear Accelerator, Precise Table, Linac Control system, iViewGT™ and XVI.

At the Linkoping, Sweden site there is a dedicated Leksell Gamma Knife® installation, which is used during the training course.

First line training courses can be run on customer sites around the world. These courses present a low risk to the customer’s machine.
