PrecisePLAN® is a general purpose planning system that helps the planner break the complexity barrier, is easy to use, and enables the creation of high precision plans that are easy and safe to verify and deliver. PrecisePLAN software takes advantage of modern, powerful PC hardware workstations and safe operating system (Red Hat linux, common to Elekta supplied GammaPlanPFX and 3D Line ERGO++) to provide fast treatment planning solutions. PrecisePLAN is designed to support the wide range of clinical techniques that are available with Elekta linear accelerators, including: - IRREG for conventional fluoroscopic simulator based planning

Patient treatment plan quality assurance is enabled by output of familiar physics quantities and may be verified by independent Monitor Unit check programs. IMRT hybrid plan dose QA mode supports common practices with export of 3-D dose to compatible applications, such as Scanditronix-Wellhoefer OmniPro I’mRT. PrecisePLAN users have a full range of support services after installation and configuration that include Physics Services for beam data commissioning, as well as training courses for new users and for software release updates.
