LEKSELL GAMMA KNIFE® PERFEXION ™ / 4C INTRODUCTORY


Objective

Through attendance at this Leksell Gamma Knife® training program, registrants should obtain knowledge about the practical aspects of stereotactic radiosurgery using the Leksell Gamma Knife®. Principles of radiation physics and radiobiology, as they apply to single-session, focused, small volume irradiation will be covered. Registrants should be able to create radiosurgery dose plans for brain tumors, vascular malformations and trigeminal neuralgia. At the close of the Leksell Gamma Knife® training program, participants should be able to discuss those issues relevant to dose selection in individual patients and discuss the spectrum of complications after radiosurgery and their management.

LEKSELL GAMMA KNIFE® 4 & 4C INTRODUCTORY


Objective

The Objective of this course is to introduce new users to Gamma Knife® surgery and make the clinicians and technicians proficient in the use of Leksell Gamma Knife® 4 and 4C. The courses focuses on clinical information, combined with a mix of practical and technical sessions to give basic knowledge required for Gamma Knife® surgery.

LEKSELL GAMMA KNIFE® 4 & 4C UPGRADE


Objective

Registrants will receive technical training in handling new features of Leksell Gamma Knife® 4 & 4C, when upgrading from model U, B and C. The training includes the use of Automatic Positioning System™.
