Elekta's Education and Training department aims to provide high quality clinical based courses at our pre-selected hospital sites on some of the current products designed for a Doctor/Clinician, Physicist and Radiographer from each attending hospital. Participants will be pre-equipped with Applications Training knowledge and skills to successfully implement the course knowledge back into their own hospital radiotherapy department. The courses provide training in the principles and techniques used in Radiotherapy. Classes are structured to small groups to better enable teaching and learning. Networking and discussions are encouraged. Didactic lectures focus on basic principles and techniques surrounding the product. Patient cases brought in by the participants are reviewed, followed by practical hands-on sessions to strengthen technique principles and understanding.
