Goal Active Breathing Coordinator™ course provides training for Radiotherapy Equipment Operators in the clinical use of Active Breathing Coordinator™. Participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to operate the complete system effectively. The course does not provide training in the principles or techniques used in Radiotherapy. Objectives - Provide a basic understanding of the hardware and software comprising Active Breathing Coordinator™
- Facilitate competent use of Active Breathing Coordinator™ for clinical purposes
- Enable the patient to maintain simulated/planned breath holds during treatment administration
- Understand the relevant safety issues and system administrator procedures with regard to the daily use of the system
Requirements - A maximum of 6 course participants, who must attend for the duration of the 1 day course at the customer site
- Course participants must understand the principles of, and be familiar with, the administration and delivery of radiation treatment
- Course participants should be those who will be operating the unit in clinical use
- Active Breathing Coordinator™ must be available for training purposes for the course duration
