STRATEGIQ™ Services and the HITECH Act

In response to the recent HITECH Act, STRATEGIQ Services from Elekta has developed a specific program geared towards helping Radiation and Medical Oncology centers prepare to demonstrate “meaningful use”.  In order to take advantage of government incentive payments and avoid costly Medicare penalties beginning in 2015, your center must meet certain criteria.

STRATEGIQ Services consultants will work closely with your center to provide MOSAIQ expertise and help you prepare to demonstrate meaningful use. The process begins with an onsite assessment to evaluate your site’s readiness to demonstrate meaningful use. Consultants will then work with your site to highlight necessary workflow changes, revamp processes for maximum efficiency, and ensure your systems are configured properly.

To demonstrate meaningful use, your center will need to fully utilize MOSAIQ functionality and success is heavily dependent on the entire staff being trained properly. STRATEGIQ consultants will work to train staff and identify roles within the system to ensure proper MOSAIQ usage.
