EMR-Based Treatment Verification

While many equipment manufacturers’ provide a verification system as an accessory to a treatment device, Elekta Software provides verification capability as an extension of the image-enabled electronic medical record (EMR). Once the treatment plan is completed, Elekta Software’s EMR includes template-based care plans that help automate the generation of complex treatment prescriptions and customizable treatment calendars to drive machine set-up, verify machine parameters, and record actual treatments; while, integral quality assurance and patient positioning tools support pre- and post-treatment review and analysis.
