Elekta utilizes the latest Health Level 7 (HL7) communication standards to support the electronic exchange of patient information between MOSAIQ and external healthcare information systems. Registration information from the hospital, lab results from an outside lab, or external documentation from the referring physician can be easily imported into MOSAIQ to become an integral part of the patient record. Likewise, critical information such as orders, transcriptions, treatment summaries, and charges can be easily exported from MOSAIQ to any HL7-compliant information system.
