Clinical confidence is enhanced when pre-treatment patient position verification and analysis are robust, accurate and reproducible. More normal tissue is spared and more therapeutic dose applied to target tissues. MOSAIQ Setup Intelligence extends the MOSAIQ Radiation Oncology EMR to provide enhanced support for patient position verification and analysis.

Setup Intelligence combines sophisticated on-line or off-line image registration tools with the ability to capture, document, and analyze positional shift information resulting from setup variations in conventional, IMRT, and IGRT delivery techniques. Regardless of the localization/immobilization method, MOSAIQ Setup Intelligence™ ensures that the correct patient and reference image is selected for localization, facilitates required adjustments, records the image to document actual treatment position, and saves the degree of shift for subsequent trend reporting.

In addition to helping improve accuracy and reproducibility in daily treatment setup, MOSAIQ Setup Intelligence also maintains a complete treatment history for review and analysis. Users can evaluate individual daily setups to identify systemic variations, refine patient setups in response to systemic changes, and analyze patient populations across multiple positioning methodologies.
