MOSAIQ Procedure Management embeds charge intelligence into MOSAIQ Oncology EMR to enable the seamless capture, audit and export of billable procedures and supplies. Electronic charge management reduces the chance of lost charges, transcription errors, coding inconsistencies and redundant data entries.

MOSAIQ Procedure Management provides a robust way to authorize treatments, capture and audit charge information, and forward charges to either the MOSAIQ Medical Billing system or an external system for invoicing and reporting.

Because effective authorizations tracking ensures complete and timely reimbursement, the software keeps track of authorization information (numbers, effective/ expiration dates, visit limitations), and alerts users of pending expirations or limits. In addition, advanced charge capture features eliminate time and effort spent managing paper charge tickets. All captured charges are immediately available for electronic audit and invoicing.

  • Via IMPAC HL7 interface, customers can import registration data from a HIS and export charge information to an external billing system for invoicing.
  • Configured with MOSAIQ Medical Billing and accounts receivable, users can post charges directly to the ledger before electronic claims submission. The result is faster, more complete reimbursement and a single source of clinical and financial data for effective management reporting.
