Radiation Oncology Data Alliance

Radiation Oncology Data Alliance (RODA)

The Radiation Oncology Data Alliance (RODA) is an initiative by Elekta Software to create the foundation for the first radiation oncology specific data registry. It aims improve data quality and quality of care in the radiation oncology community. Through the RODA, Elekta Software has developed and deployed an infrastructure that supports, among other programs, the ability to retrospectively identify treatment practices and correlate them with patient outcomes. Data is collected during the routine use of the EMR, then de-identified and aggregated in near real-time to a central data repository. The ultimate goal of the RODA is to create an international radiation oncology registry for collecting and analyzing data from practices world-wide and correlating the data with patient outcomes.

By joining the RODA members will be able to:

  • Measure and improve data quality and quality of patient care
  • Help ensure accurate and timely collection of patient data
  • Help develop and provide best practice standards for data collection
  • Increase and improve use of Elekta Software’s MOSAIQ EMR by improving data capture
  • Have 24/7 access to secure online aggregate de-identified dataset
  • Facilitate clinical and administrative research
  • Benchmark facilities against other de-identified facility aggregates
