Connecting to the Oncology EMR

The cancer registrar is often completely reliant on the oncology chart to provide timely, complete, and accurate diagnosis and treatment information for cancer program reporting. Elekta Software’s MOSAIQ Connect™ supports the transfer of oncology data directly from Elekta Software’s electronic medical record (EMR) , MOSAIQ to Elekta Software cancer registry system, METRIQ. Integration with MOSAIQ makes your registrar an effective member of the cancer care team; while the automatic data transfer of charting information to METRIQ makes your cancer registry an effective extension of the cancer program.

Registry Integration

Registrar is presented with cases for review and incorporation into the registry database. Upon receipt, the Elekta Software registrar creates a new abstract with the imported information for patients not previously identified, or adds/updates an abstract for an existing patient. Integrating information from clinical oncology chart with Elekta Software registry systems aid case finding effort and provide a more complete abstract, more rapidly, without redundant data entry.

The ability to transfer data electronically from Elekta Software’s oncology EMR effectively connects your registry to your cancer center.
